Hello and welcome! I am very happy that after a few years of absence I am back to present something new. In recent months I have been busy designing and making Blythe fashion and a cutie patootie plush friend for her. This is the very first set that I offer for sale. It is a completely new design, the whole set consists of several parts that I will describe below.

Do you love the circus too? It is one of my favourite themes. This time the inspiration came from one of my own creations that I made several years ago: Pinot Bleu the little circus bear. He can be seen HERE.

My Blythe model is Suzette. I made a creative signature on the back plate of her head: an elephant in the same colours that I used to make the circus outfit and the pull toy elephant called Olivier. I think it turned out well for the very first time and I am very pleased with the result.

For this outfit I have chosen the following colours. Two neutral colours ivory and dark brown. And two contrast colours hot pink as a signature colour, but without being overpowering and soft eggshell blue as a contrast colour. All colours together form a wonderful combination.

I am a real fabric and colour freak and so choosing colours is always a treat. I often work on it for a while. I carefully search for the fabrics and supplies such as paint, lace, straps and other small stuff. Just until I get the YES-this-is-it-factor. After this I will design the pattern. This is often time-consuming. For a good fit it is necessary to make a prototype first. Usually something needs to be changed. Then I start sewing. I now use another method: I make two copies at the same time. The first as test that I keep for myself, the second better version is then for sale. Well, I've said enough, let's start to see what this entire set consists of:

The set consists of 8 parts which you can see at the photo below:

The hat is made of dark brown shaved dotted corduroy. It is fully lined. On top of the hat is a hand-painted pompom and the edge is trimmed with a hand-dyed lace and sparkling glitter accents.

The blouse is made of ivory cotton with tiny little pin tucks. It has a ruffled collar made of fine French cotton lace. There is a velvet strap with a golden accent charm around the neck and small buttons on the front and the cuffs.The bottom of the blouse is also trimmed with fine French cotton lace and the blouse closes with soft hook & loop tape.

The bright pink waistcoat is made of shaved stretch velvet. It is fully lined with dotted cotton fabric. I used eggshell blue as an accent colour for the collar with small accent stitches. Note: the accent stitches of the slip jacket's collar that you receive have an eggshell colour. I did not want to risk anything during the photo shoot. The slip jacket that you will receive can be seen in the 2nd photo of "all dressed up".

The stockings are made of ivory dotted net lace and they are trimmed with fine French cotton lace and a pink silk bow with bronze button.The shoes are made of genuine black leather with a bow on the front. They can really open & close with a tiny button, but do it very carefully as the stockings are made of fragile net lace. The size of the insole is 24 × 10 mm.

The pretty ruffle short or bloomers is made of the same material as the hat. It is fully lined with a beautiful Italian lining. The legs are trimmed with hand dyed fine French cotton lace. I stitched a bright satin pink belt on the bloomers with dark brown accent stitches. It closes at the back with a handmade tiny hook and eye.

The wooden stick is hand painted and has golden-bronze embellishment on the top. Fortunately, Olivier is trained with lots of love and not with a hard hand as is often the case in real life. The images of these are horrific. I do not understand my fellow man how you can deal with a living animal by hurting them so much. I also strongly reject this!

I bet you spotted him already: Olivier the little circus elephant pull toy. Ain't he incredibly cute. I put a lot of detail into this piece from the tip of his circus hat right down to his tiny little tail! Oliver is looking for a loving home with a new big eyes girlfriend who wants to cuddle him.

He is made of eggshell blue Schulte (Germany) viscose. He looks into the world with cute black droopy glass eyes.

He has a unique detailed head and the overall piece has hand tinted markings. He has a long trunk and sad droopy ears backed in shades of pink cotton and then aged. His paw pads are heavily aged for definition.

Olivier wears a vintage lace ruff collar around his neck that is made from fine French cotton lace with a shabby hand dyed ribbon. I made him a little clown hat from cotton fabric with tiny shiny pink stars and blue dots. The edge is distressed with glitter accents and on top a rusty bell.....so darling!

And he's standing on the cutest rusty wheels from wood. I found out a new technique to make them look very like very old rusty wheels.

Olivier's size: width: 8 cm - 3.15 inches | height: 14 cm - 5.5 inches from the wheels to tip of the hat.
